Paul Sanchez at Chikie Wah Wah

The group had a wonderful time this evening enjoying the music of Paul Sanchez. I was thrilled to find out what a kind person he was and how much he cared about the community. It felt great to support a fantastic musician and caring member of the New Orleans community and culture.

Word is Getting Out!

I am very excited to share that the Frances Huggins Community Health Clinic is getting some recognition! A BIG THANK YOU to Nick Timiraos of the Wall Street Journal for tweeting our recent interview with NPR. Check out the link below!

Fun times at Delacroix!!

We moved on to complete transects at Delacroix park today. It’s a much different forest with a more in-tact over canopy and larger woody plants. It’s a little wet but it’s fun to see a different part of the forest!

Community Garden

We had a great time singing and building this garden today! It felt nice to do some good for a local community that has gone through the worst of times.
