What would take for more people to engage in the ethical actions presented?
It would take more people being aware of this issue thus pressuring Verizon.
What actions are needed to change the unethical behavior into ethical behavior?
Verizon and other giants such as AT&T would need to allow for a competitive market place and stop engaging in anti-competitive behavior such as attacking users for tethering, blocking Facetime, blocking competing mobile wallet platforms, disabling device GPS, cramming, and ripping people off with false advertising and stealth charges.
Based on your responses to the Core Values Questionnaire, what are your core values?
Happiness and Knowledge are my core values.
To what degree would you say that your actions align with your values? How would you want to improve in this area?
I believe that my actions align with my values greatly. I could improve in this area by more actively being cognizant of what will make me happy thus enabling me to be aware of how to achieve said happiness. As for knowledge, spending more time learning would allow me to acquire more knowledge.
Do you think other people know your core values?
I believe that other people such as my friends and family know my core values. That is because they know that I am always seeking happiness and that I am always excited to learn something new and interesting.
Are you comfortable talking about your core values with others?
I certainly am comfortable talking about my core values with other as they are integral to who I am.
In your planning for the future (e.g. next five years), how will your values influence what you do?
Well I will need to find a career path for myself that will achieve maximum possible happiness for me. In order to do so I will need to keep my options open and always be keenly aware of the possibilities. Knowledge is easier to come by as there is a panoplies of ways to learn now a days thanks to the internet.
