SURVIVOR BLOG POST #6

In this weeks episode was particularly interesting because both tribes, Hunahpuh and Coyopa, merged together to form one tribe. This means that loved ones were reunited and new alliances started forming. I would say that it put a bit of pressure upon some of the tribe members, especially the ones who were singled out.

The chapter focuses on verbal and nonverbal communication, which includes two types of behaviors, supportive and defensive. In this episode, Jeremy shows defensive behavior because he places the blame on his entire tribe, and evaluates them without describing what they should have done.

Also, this episode is a great example of how men and women differ using their nonverbal communication. The women in the tribe tended to touch other tribe members more when they were excited during challenges , and the men tended to seem more relaxed.
