Why? Why? Why?

This episode began with a huge game changer. Both tribes were combined into being one. It brought loved ones together as well as old alliances. I’t made some weaker, and others stronger. Loved ones were beginning to be a threat for those who were alone. For example Julie and Jeremy, they both were not for the fact that Josh and Reed were becoming in charge, in a way leaders taking over. Right away Jeremy took it upon himself to talk to others and try to convince them to take part of his alliance and work together to as he would say “Have the numbers”. Here we see an example of Team Talk where a lot of “we” is used to sell that his strategy is valuable. Jeremy then noticed that Josh was just as smart and being on top of it as well because the felt that if they didn’t, they would be voted off, and so the competition begins.

Josh wants to take whomever is alone, without a loved and and have continue the groups in pairs. People began to give there words to one another, alliances began to shift but at the end some became confused with what would be the best strategy that would help them in the long run. We then come across hunger, and how food is an essential and critical part of surviving in the island. Julie after the feast they had decides to take into her bag trail mix left and keeps to herself. They then were curious were the left over trail mix was put, they decide to check everyones bags, as Julie was out laying on the beach they check her bag and find it. Some were furious because of the fact that she was being selfish which shows Non verbal behavior from Julie, hiding this valuable snack to them. Julie then came back to the camp where everyone was at, immediately she felt the tension and felt low. She couldn’t take it anymore and the additional emotional challenge of not having her man caused for her to quit and leave. This act, hurt some and also benefitted others, and like mentioned this saved could of just given someone one million dollars.
