Wind Speed Frequency at Final Sites

Here are graphs for sites 3 and 4 that display the wind speed frequency of every 1 m/s inteval.

Site 3 often displays wind speeds between 3 and 6 m/s. This would be suitable for a wind turbine as most have a start up speed of 3 m/s.

Site 4 often displays wind speeds between 3 and 8 m/s. This would again be suitable for a wind turbine.

There is an even frequency of wind speeds under 3 m/s and both locations. This means the likelyhood of a wind turbine cutting out is even between the two locations, even though site 4 has a higher average wind speed.
