The Odd Ones Out
Here you can see that Regina George would be considered a part of the out-group, along with anyone else who doesn’t follow the “plastic” rules. Gretchen and Karen share their opinion that Regina cannot sit with them, and Regina tries to contradiction that. With Regina being a part of the out-group, she is not agreeing with the majority. By tone and body language you can see that Karen tries to step in to be the leader, saying that everything should be fair amongst the group. I think that Regina does not identify with the larger group because she sees herself as “queen bee” and more privileged than the others. If the scene was continued, you would eventually see that the group decided that listening to one another they realize that their group dynamic was not ideal and could have been more inclusive.
Going against the flow
The text describes that the members of the members of the out-group don’t necessarily go with the flow. They don’t necessarily agree with what everybody else is saying in regards a certain topic. For example in the short clip Bryan goes against the common perceptions of the movies that Lois mentions. The leader in this case is Lois, she is helping Bryan see how he doesn’t necessarily have the same opinions in regards to the movie selection that she points out as everyone else.
Find you group, become a henchman
While done mockingly so in this clip the two first individuals to speak are seeking to recruit out-group members to join them as henchmen to work for the villain The Monarch. The henchman dressed in the standard Monarch henchman attire first presents views that those of an out-group might hold. The henchman dressed in regular clothing identifies himself with classic out-group characteristics such as calling himself a “loner who lacks ties to friends and family.” Others hear this message and identify with it suggesting the strategy of empathizing with group members and by helping them feel included as part of the henchmen of the monarch.

I hope you are doing well on this fine Tuesday night. 
I have reviewed and provided feedback on your persuasive speech topics. Please take a look at my comments and let me know if you have any questions. Unfortunately I am unable to provide any feedback on late submissions.
Tomorrow is a mandatory speech practice night. I will be present to take attendance at the beginning of the class session and will remain in the room in the event that you have any questions or need help. However, you are welcome to work with your groups elsewhere on campus AFTER checking in.

WE’RE A HOT MESS.
On the latest episode, we learn that John has been kicked off and that is a major relief to Baylor. As we learned in a previous episode, the Hunaphu tribe ends up finding the flint. It was sadly right under their noses. We can tell that Drew is starting up some conflict. He thinks he is better than everyone else and he believes he is a fisherman.
Before the challenge starts, the Hunaphu tribe wants to trade their flint for fishing gear, but that sadly doesn’t happen for them. It was a close call, but the Hunaphu tribe ends up not picking the campfire food. Coyopa doesn’t think that they will ever be able to catch up with this teams and this leaves them in doubts.
While Drew and Jacyln are on exile island, she tells him about her fears about being sent home and not winning the immunity challenge. He tells her not to worry because he is planning to lose. He sees this as a way to get closer to the prize.
During the immunity challenge, Drew actually went through with his plan and I was very surprised about that. It caused conflict between his team. His plan did not work out as well as he thought it would because he recieved four votes at tribal council, which left him leaving the island.
Episode 4
In episode 4 some of the tribe members are integrated now well start seeing even more alliances form and back being stabbed because surprise surprise we know have some tribe members with there significant other. Theres about four members who now have there other partner with them, so this is definitely going to get interesting, because no ones going to be able to trust anyone. I think this is a definite downfall for the tribes because everything was somewhat working, they had set alliances a d everyone was starting to fall into there own roles. Everyone is going to start loping out for themselves and there partner instead of the tribe as a whole.
The original members of the Hunahpu tribe have know become overrun by the Coyopa tribe members who were integrated in there tribe. There now scared that this is going to lead to them being kicked off because there now outcasts there not members of there tribe anymore there members of the other tribe essentially. Jeremy and Natalie the two members of the original Hunahpu tribe made an alliance between themselves and there trying to get new members to join up with them, this might not work because they don’t really know the other group that well yet, it might give them the look that they aren’t searching for and ultimately lead to there defeat.
In all we see a lot of self interested group members and not a lot of team play. By now we know everyones technique and know if there introverted or extroverted, many have to be extroverted in order to make alliances but its not all real most of what there saying is a facade, there true emotions are hidden and you can tell by there body language, posture, and there overall demenor. This might stem from intimidation like they drew wanted to kick out kelly because he thought of her to be the most skilled member.
